Easter Catch-up

Hey everyone!

I've been back from Chicago for a few days now and I haven't posted yet, mostly because the pictures I want to put on here aren't from my camera, so I had to go online and get them from Lindsay's Facebook. Chaela "hunted for eggs" this year, meaning that my family put the tiniest eggs they had in a small pile for her to stare at, haha. It was fun, though, we got some really cute pictures. We were glad to go home for a few days. Thanks everyone for all you did! Love you all!

Here's Chaela and her cousin Oden. He's 6 weeks younger but already bigger! They're both so cute!

Chaela was trying to dive into the chocolate at my Aunt's house. This was the only picture of this Lindsay had up but I hope to get more soon (if there are more).

Chillin with Aunt Lindsay and making "the face."

Hanging out with Uncle Jordan.

My family is doing a Walk for the Cure I think it's called. Basically they're doing a 3-day, 60 mile walk in August to support breast cancer research. It's pretty great. If anyone wants more information on it, let me know and I'll get you some. Anyways, this is the team that they made, except Kristin's on it too and maybe my cousin Liza is interested. It keeps growing, which is great!!!

Just a cute picture of Chaela being happy.

Chaela with Grandma Margaret. When we first went to bring Chaela to see her, my Aunt Denise told her that we wouldn't be there for another few hours. We showed up 20 minutes later and went in. Grandma was sitting in the den and we stuck Chaela's head around the corner. When grandma finally noticed it, she screamed, yelled "my baby's here!!" and hung up on my Aunt Sis.

These last two were just fun with Photoshop on Lindsay's computer.

Easter in Chicago

Hey everyone! It's me! Chaela and I are in Chicago with my family for Easter. Yay! Here are some pictures of what's been going on lately. Also, Will actually posted, so if you haven't seen it (and you like Halo 3) make sure to look at it!

So really not too much yet. I'll post again in a few days. Also, I miss Will! This whole vacation without your husband thing is just lame.

My turn to post...yay

Well it's Halo time again. Here's a remake from the map Sidewinder from Halo 1.

St. Patrick's Day Baby!

I made Chaela this little hoodie and headband because I was bored. I made it green so she could wear it on St. Patrick's Day! Woohoo.

Absolutely, Ridiculously Cute

I didn't know that this jacket had ears on it until I put it on her, and I usually try not to say this about my own baby, but I found it ridiculously cute. Kristin actually has the best one on her cell phone, so if you want it texted to you, let me know (but not too many of you because those are more expensive to send)!

I've been busy.

So I have a midterm tomorrow that I forgot about until about 10 pm tonight. It's now about 1am, so I studied for a few hours. I feel pretty good about it, though. Anyways, I'm sorry I've been neglecting you. Here are the latest pictures. I just realized that the camera has the wrong date. These were all taken after my last post, so don't worry, they're not old. Also there are three videos in this post. A new record!

Her first solid food. She hated it. She still hates rice cereal, but she likes it if I put some peaches in it. I've discovered the secret!

Tummy time. See. I do do it sometimes.

Here is a landmark video for all of you.

These are with the peaches. See the magical difference!

So in these two she just looks insane. Especially the bottom one.

Bug Bites and Drama in my Life (again)

So Chaela is teething, she's drooling and chewing on everything she can. Including Kristin. Hahaha!

Now for the newest drama in my own personal soap opera. The city of Orem is trying to evict us! Yes, it's true. Apparently there's a city ordinance against two families sharing a home unless you're on some kind of list. Unfortunately, the list was closed in 2004. Absolutely idiotic. So for a few days we were thinking of moving to TN, but Jason and Jana have advised against it. So here we are still, on the condition that Will starts school in the summer. That's the only way I'll stay, because I HATE Utah. Five years is five years too long. Anyways, now we have to go fight the city if we want to stay here. The dumb thing is that we're not even hurting anyone by being here. We're quiet, good neighbors, and we don't even park on the street for goodness sake! I'm pretty angry, so I can't talk about it, because I'll start ranting. However, since the law is pointless, I'll just keep asking why until they give in and let us stay. I'll keep you all posted on how it's going. Pray for us. This would happen this semester. Love you all!

She'll hate this when she's older!

This was one of those great photo ops that just randomly happens when you have a baby. I think it may be my favorite picture so far! Gotta go to bed (Japanese midterm tomorrow) but I really wanted to post this!

Goings on...

Hey everyone! I swear I posted some pictures on here yesterday, but I guess not. Here are some new ones. Also, the semester is half over! I might survive!!!! Oh, and Chaela is finally in her 3 month clothes. Only a month late, so it's sooner than I thought it would be!

And here are some pictures just taken today. We got her a bumbo chair thing so she can sit on her own and she loves it! Makes things easier on me and Will to be able to put her down without her screaming.

And finally a video of her sitting up on her own and playing with her rattle. Woohoo! So exciting.
