Untimely Comments about TV Shows

Watching shows on Hulu means that none of my comments about television are timely, therefore I cannot post them on facebook.  But this is my blog, so are two untimely comments about shows I watched today:

First off, I can't believe The Finder got cancelled AND ended the season/series on that awful everyone-is-scattered-to-the-winds note.  Argh!  Talk about unsatisfying!  I am totally disappointed with the general populace for not liking Finder as much as me.

Secondly, I did end up watching most of this season of Glee, and I think the show's seriously going downhill.  It just isn't living up to the hype anymore.  Anyway, that's not what I wanted to say.  What I wanted to say was that my keen observational powers spotted a mistake in the season finale!  That's right!  At one point, one of the characters mentioned that some teachers "teach driving."  FALSE, Hollywood writers!  Driver's ed is not taught in schools in Ohio.  BAM!  Consider yourself enlightened.

That's all.

Yes. :(

So I know the link doesn't work, but if you copy/paste that's where the story is. The last line is so horribly ironic it makes me want to cry: " Hopefully the producers saw the writing on the wall early enough and won’t leave viewers hanging with any major unresolved storylines."

Ah! I actually really liked the Finder. I just hadn't found time to actually watch it when it's on TV. Boo!!

One of the best new shows, a detective show that was actually entertaining rather then a rehash of the other dozen shows like it.

Fox sure has a track record for this kind of thing. They should cancel Glee instead and bring back The Finder.

they used to have it in school. my mom had it in high school but they canceled it after a student got in an accident and killed everyone in the car.

i haven't watched glee in awhile. it's beginning to bore me.

will you hate me if i tell you i've never heard of the finder?

@Brooke - I couldn't watch it on TV either because we don't get any channels at all right now. Lame.

@Justin - I know! They won't cancel Glee, though, because it's still coasting on it's crazy break-out success from the first season or two. We'll see what happens after next year. I agree with Maya, it's getting boring. I liked Smash a lot better, though it had its moments, too.

@Maya - Ha ha, no, I won't. It's a procedural drama/comedy a lot like Bones, so if you like Bones you should check out The Finder on Hulu.

I think I heard that they used to have it in school, but that's really horrible about that accident!

@Amanda - it seriously would've saved a ton of time and money!
