100%!

I got a 100% on my first test of the semester yay! Granted, so did everyone else in the class (it was take-home) but it still makes me feel good!!

3 weeks and 1 day until my due date... still counting down... and my belly button has finally popped up. She's done, get her out!!

Update on Will: he's doing good, getting ready for school in January. We've been doing financial aid stuff lately. Other than that, he works and plays A LOT of Halo 3. If he's not playing it, he's talking about it or looking things up on the internet about it. We also watch movies that we rent on Netflix. Right now he's sleeping. Work tomorrow and he gets up at 5. But soon it's the weekend!!! He works really hard. What a good man! I've been trying to get him to post, I even used peer pressure. (Look honey, Jason is cool and he's posting. You could be that cool too!!) But nothing has worked yet. I'll keep trying!

The Most Uneventful Pregnancy Ever!

I think I win the prize for the most uneventful pregnancy. Every time I think something dramatic is happening, it turns out that it's not... which in this case is a good thing, but who doesn't like a little drama? Haha.
So here's what happened: I went to the Dr. today and she's prodding my stomach (hard) and she says, "Well I don't feel the head down here, but this up here might be." (She was poking by my ribs.) So she decides to check me internally to see if the head is just so far down there that she can't feel it from the outside. Unpleasant. Yup. Turns out Chaela isn't the stinker I thought she was! She's just stuck so far down there that we can't feel her head by poking my stomach. Thank goodness. So no C-section for me! I'm starting my weekly Dr's appointments now, so that will probably help time pass a little faster (I hope). Here's to 36 weeks and no complications!!
Oh, the other drama, in case you were wondering, is when she measured small at one appointment. The next appointment she was fine again, so no ultrasound to see what was going on! I think a healthy baby will get me over the disappointment of no 3rd ultrasound, though. I will survive.
So 3 weeks and 5 days to go until my due date! Pray that she comes out then!!! Or before would be good too!!!!

Just bored...

So Will is playing Halo right now, and it's pretty boring for me. He wants some of his friends to come over and play, too, which will be even more boring. Yay! Last night he fell asleep at like 9:30... which means he woke up at 7:30 this morning, so I got woken up too. Now I know what it's going to be like when we have kids!
On a happier note, we went grocery shopping today, which means we are no longer out of hot chocolate!!! Delicious. I'm addicted to it, which is why (aside from the fact that I feel like it's 20 degrees hotter than it actually is) I'm soooooo glad it's gotten cooler.
4 weeks from today is my due date! Soon no more aching ribs, strained back, insomnia, getting up 5 times to pee at night, heartburn, etc. Score! I know there will be other things, but at least they'll be different!
Another good thing is that our living room is clean right now because Will wanted to have people over, and that's the rule. But only our living room. All other rooms on our house are trashed. You'd think I'd be cleaner, but my nesting instict is being buried by the fact that getting up off the couch to do stuff is really, really hard. Like physically hard. I'm not into this whole pregnancy thing, I just want it to be over.
Oh! Our one year anniversary is a week from tomorrow (Oct. 21) so that's pretty cool. It's hard to believe we've been married a year! It seems like a lot longer... haha.
I'm still bored. Maybe I'll go make fudge or something. My mom just gave me my great-grandma's recipe. We still have like half a chocolate cake I made the other day, but oh well. There can never be enough chocolate.

Hello World!

Hi! Since I'm not very busy this semester I thought I should start this thing so I can keep in touch with far away people. It was inspired by my sister- and brother-in-law, because they have a lot of good ideas. For example, I never told you Jana, but Will got me one of those awesome Victoria's Secret robes for our anniversary. I know Jason got you one last year, and I stole your idea because I wanted to have a robe I can wear in the hospital. We just want to be like you, have you noticed? You have a baby, we have a baby (soon), you get a robe, I get a robe, Jason goes to college, Will goes to college... haha.

Aside from that, nothing is really new. I'm taking 4 classes right now, thankfully they're all within my major, so they're all interesting. If all goes according to plan, I'll be graduating in April. Woohoo! It's about time.
This is a picture from the excellent baby shower my friend Diane threw for me. Yes, Diane, you are amazing. My belly is going to take over the world!! But I do think it looks bigger in this than it actually is... just my opinion.

Oh! So this is something: at my last Dr's appointment, Chaela was still not turned head-down. No one knows why, because most babies are head-down long before now. If she hasn't turned by 37 weeks (which is next Saturday) then I'll probably have to schedule a C-section. Not cool. I mean, even if we schedule one and then she turns, I won't still have to have it. But I'm not all about the idea of being cut open. So we're hoping that she's somehow turned in the last 2 weeks and I just don't know. The one single shining point in that whole darkness is that we'd know for sure when she'd show up... and it would be early, because the Dr. wouldn't want me to possibly go into labor. However, my mom has informed me that anytime before Nov. 5th won't work for her (because I want her to be here to help me, since I'm hopeless). So we'll have to see what we can do, haha. Will and I might just have to handle it for a few days without a responsible adult present!

Oh, and a side note: now that we're getting this close I'm paranoid that it's secretly a boy, and we have a billion girl outfits and only 3 neutral ones. Ahhh!! That's why I'm borrowing a boy outfit from my neighbor... you know, just in case.

Enough rambling for one day. I'm going to eat! Yay!
