The Potty War

I'm not sure how many of you know this, but potty training Chaela has been a several-months-long war.  We've almost made it to victory, but it's a two forward, one back thing.  Here's the latest.

Just a few minutes ago she was yelling in her room (she was supposed to be asleep).  I went in to see her.

"Hi mommy.  My legs are wet."
"What?  Why are you legs wet, honey?  Did you potty in your room?"
"Yes.  I potty on the floor."
"Do you need new panties?"
"No, my panties are dry."

And they were.  But there's a large wet spot on her bedroom floor.  So, the best I can figure, she took off her panties, peed on the floor, then put them back on.

*forehead smack*

Ah the joys of potty training! That is funny. I attempted once a few weeks back to potty train Mason and gave up. I guess I need to start again. Good luck!

I can't stop giggling at this. Of course, give me a few years and you'll probably be reading about the same thing on my blog... but at least her panties were dry.
