Īnsomnis

It's getting close to 11pm and I would like to get to bed, except Joci is blinking at me sleepily from my pillow while I sit with my pregnant butt going numb on the bottom corner of my bed.  Also Will is snoring like the fate of the world depends on his loudness.  If we ever have another kid (probably not) I'm waiting until we're rich enough to afford a guest room so I have somewhere to crash on nights like this.

Oh, and as far as pregnancy news goes, all is well.  I talked to my doctor and am tentatively scheduled for induction.  I know not everyone approves, but I'm miserable enough already that I don't care.  Plus my doctor won't induce me unless my Bishop score is 10 or more, at which point there is no larger risk for C-section than there would be if I went into labor naturally.

It seems like this pregnancy has gone faster than the others, or maybe you haven't been blogging as much lol

Hope that you get some sleep soon :)

I am right there with you on all counts of this post!!! Although we haven't discussed labor yet, which I wish we would. I'm ready now!!

Why is induction not a good idea? If your doctor says it's a go, you trust your doctor, and you trust your body...why not induce?

I was induced with my second baby, and I'm soooo glad I did. He was 9 pounds. If we'd waited, who knows how big he'd be, and that's not so happy for my body (not that labor is ever happy anyway, eh?). I may have even needed to do a C-section.

So. Good for you. Hope you're feeling better soon? And/or are at least able to sleep a little more soon :)
